San Luis Taqueria

One of our favorite things to do is to explore the city and to see what the locals love. We came across this popular taco spot while walking around downtown San Luis Obispo. San Luis Taqueria was popping and we gave the place a try. I think it was good for what it was, but definitely not the best we had.

Luna Red

Luna Red was recommended by my aunt. This place is super adorable and has a nice Spanish feel to it. The best part was my bestie Ponteah and her boyfriend Nader surprised me! Richie reached out to them since they were doing a mini trip themselves and came to surprise me at lunch. I definitely shed some happy tears when I saw them! Our personal favorite from the pics above was the bacon wrapped dates!

Brown Butter Cookie Co.

Brown Butter Cookie Co. is a hot spot in SLO. The locals and tourists love this place. The cookies are known to be buttery, salty, and sweet. I personally wasn’t huge fan of the combination and flavors.
