Mi Goreng Stir Fry Noodles Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 shallot 
  • Olive oil for frying
  • 1 oyster mushroom thinly sliced
  • 1 bag mi goreng noodles from ABC Noodles
  • Cubed pork belly or any protein of your choice
  • 3 stubs of bok choy or any veggies of your choice
 
Sauce
  • Chabe Sambal Chili Sauce (optional)

 

Toppings
  • Green onions
  • 1 Fried egg

 

Directions
Prepping
  1. Cut pork belly into cubed sizes. 
  2. Wash the bok choy and break it apart. 
  3. Dice up the shallots. 
  4. Wash the oyster mushroom and cut into thin slices. 
  5. Thinly slice the green onions

 

Cooking

Boiling

  1. Boil water on high heat. 
  2. Add noodles and bok choy into the boiling pot for 3 minutes. 
  3. Drain water and place on a plate. 

 

Stir Fry

  1. Pre-heat pan on medium to medium-high. 
  2. Add oil to frying pan. 
  3. Cook shallots until lightly brown color. 
  4. Add the cubed pork and thinly sliced oyster mushrooms onto the pan. Stir until the pork is brown. 
  5. Add the noodles and bok choy to the pan. 
  6. Sprinkle seasoning packet on top and stir evenly. 
  7. Place all of the stir fry onto a plate. 

 

Fried Egg

  1. Pre-heat pan on high heat. 
  2. Add oil to pan. Make sure the pan is evenly coated. 
  3. Add the egg when the pan is slightly smoking. 
  4. Sprinkle the oil on top of the egg to cook evenly. This should take 45 seconds to cook. 
  5. Top the egg on the noodles.
  6. Sprinkle green onions on top as garnishment. 
  7. Add Chabe Sambal Chili Sauce to the noodles and enjoy!
