We took a trip to Boston to visit my Bestie Eunice. It was during wintertime and I honestly thought it was about to be Spring since it was March (haha).Â
Richie and I went exploring around. These are some of the fun things we did in Boston, Massachusetts.Â
Acorn Street
Acorn Street is a popular tourist attraction where people love to take photos at. Of course, we had to stop by and take our share too! It’s such a gorgeous and bumpy street. I can’t imagine what the homeowners here have to deal with since people are always coming by to take pictures (haha).Â
Boston Harborwalk
This is another tourist hot spot. Boston Harborwalk is right a long New England Aquarium. It was nice to be able to do both! Lovely place to sit down and relax or just to walk around at. The Harborwalk is a continuous 43-mile linear park a long the Boston shorelines. So you definitely will get some exercise in!Â
Brattle Book Shop
Brattle Book Shop is one of the largest and oldest antiquarian book shop. It’s the perfect place for buying used books. My favorite part of this place is the outdoor sales lot. Really gorgeous for photos too!Â
Freedom Trail
We did the self-guided tour of the Freedom Trail. This was during Covid times so we didn’t pay for a guide. We just followed the markers that was directed from the visitor center. This took about 2.5 miles. It was a nice way to explore the city and to see some historical sites.Â
New England Aquarium
The New England Aquarium is a cute little place to stop by. Our favorites were the penguins and Myrtle the sea turtle. There is an interactive section where you can play with the penguins from afar by pretending to flash a fish into the water. It was also lovely to see Myrtle. She is about 80+ years old and came to the aquarium in the 60s.
Boston Public Library
Boston Public Library is a must visit! There’s over 23 million items here so that you can treat yourself. It’s also a gorgeous place to study. I love that there is a modern and historic parts of this public library. Lovely place to take photos at.Â
Overall, this was a very fun trip. We even got engaged too! Yay!
