Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer at Downtown Disney

My buddy and old co-worker from Yelp, Andy Cheng, drove from San Diego to visit me during his Birthday week. We haven’t seen each other for a while and had a great time catching up. We ate at Black Tap and visited some stores at Downtown Disney. We also got to check out the new Disneyland BackLot Premiere Shop. Woohoo!

This was our first time eating at Black Tap and it was sure yummy. One of the staff members told us that we wouldn’t be able to handle any of the crazy shakes (haha). Well, he sure didn’t know us.

We ordered The Greg Norman, The Texan Burger, Strawberry Shortcake, and Nutella Classic Shake. The Greg Norman was a very simple burger with full of color. The arugula gave it a refreshing taste and the blue cheese gave it a creamy texture. The Texan Burger was so flavorful, especially from the sweet baby rays bbq and mayo.

The Strawberry Shortcake was definitely a monster of a shake. So gorgeous with red, beige, and pink colors. The crumble cake and strawberry drizzle made everything better. Also, can’t forget about the ice cream bar and the twisty pop! The Nutella Classic shake was delicious. Very chocolatey and I can taste little pieces of waffler throughout the drink. Yum!
